sweet monday...for the green bride

Hi everyone- just wanted to greet you this lovely - overcast monday morning! As  I plan for the upcoming  week I feel rejuvenated {after the weekened @ my parents, and inlaws} my thinking is clear as to what I want to happen.  So I remember my short days of planning my own wedding- so many decades ago- nah, its going to be four wonderfully delicious years this June.  As I was my own wed. planner, I recall all the little Ideas and all the words of wisdom that random people love to give without asking- {some were graciously accepted and others I simply ignore (because I was bad- and part bridezilla).}  So I made a list of IDEAS- yes you got it right, Ideas that I will lovingly  offer to my brides I love so much... If  you want to get married and still manage to do some heart warming and award worthy {atleast from me} charity.

Angie's tips for going green...
Recycle your flowers, offer them to guests as they leave,
reuse your flowers if you're hosting a farewell brunch the morning after your wedding,
or donate them to a local hospital- or my fave a nursing home{it brings life to the elderly}.

Consider candlelight
it's not only romanticly sweet but energy efficient{ ooh ooh try the soy canles, to go the extra mile}.

Instead of throwing rice {which could be harmful to the little critters}
cinsider bubbles or petals from flowers you wont be using again.

for a beach wedding consider borrowing your decor from their home- comb the beach for shells and use some sand - but be sure to return them

after your fabulous wedding is over consider donating your hard goods. fabrics, carpets etc. to the habitat for humanity

Continue plaaning your fab! wedding
soak it in...
you'll remember this day for the rest of your life.
smooches
