the Long way home...
Well my trip to california this time was a little longer than usual- it was a whirlwind of events: weddings, engagements,bridals, maternity sessions and one very special "just because". The very special just beacuse turned out to be the biggest job of the year for me- the most bittersweet of all. My grams, she was very special to me;
We decided that grams needed a photoshoot, so we dolled her up and made her heart flutter with joy, as we fussed about her- she loved it and so did I - three whole hours of just us shooting and having fun and I could still hear her say " where should we go next angie?"
and now a week later(she is forever gone) I miss her terribly so and as my tears fall on my keyboard and my fingers tremble I will share some photos of my grams with you- that you too may see her beautiful soul that is now at peace- May the good lord keep her always. I'll always love you and think about you grams-I'll think of you when I'm drinking coffee and having tea with the girls. I'll think of you when my dress is flouncing and I'll think of you each time I look at Levi for I know he was the apple of your eye.
I Love you
a
so now I trek back home, to the east, with an empty heart and a crushed spirit, but I know that I have the future to look forward too.
P.S
make a big fuss about your loved ones now that they are alive (they will appreciate it more) for when they are laying in the bed of death they do not hear your cries and do not feel your touch.
TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE THEM TODAY!!!!
